All over for the time being. It seems the Ministry of Misinformation and Panic Buying has revised it's opinion because there's now "no srtike over Easter".

Why don't they just admit that they made a seriously stupid statement?

One could be cynical and wonder if all the extra tax revenue was part of the plan.......

Having said that, I am in France at present and it always p***s me off when I get here to find the deisel here is >15% cheaper than in the UK (paid 1.42 Euros per litre). Petrol is about the same however.
