Another modification for me to make..
And at slow speeds it swings about and attracts attention........ needs a gently weighted spring for a professional job.
I did a little research on street legal cars. License plate is mounted mostly on same position:

Nail it to the bottom of the grille? Drill lots of holes in the black part? Fit an air dam below the grille and fit it to one side? There are options!
At the end of the day the critical thing is to be able to get enough airflow through the radiator core to cool the engine. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ducting from the nose clip to the front of the radiator, especially over the top of the radiator, to force what gets through the grille through the core is really really important. The size of the mesh on the grill matters too, too small and it blocks too much, too big and it won't protect the core from stones. Finally, the way the grill mesh is bent matters, there's an open profile and a closed profile on expamet.

Just paint it on the grille here - that'd do wouldn't it John? ;)Quote:

Hi guys!
Some time ago i introduced my plan to let produce brackets/mounts for front license plate.
Well i let do some and now they are ready. The mounts are made out of 3,5 mm aluminium and anodized black. Size is 10 cm x 7 cm. Perfect to fit a small (or even normal size) license plate properly. Drilling holes to fit to the front of car is individual and left to the builder.
I have made not only a set for my car but also made a few more (3 sets).
So if you want some send me a PM. Price would be Euro 25,- for the pair.
