I have received a message from Paypal saying they have refunded my £30 deposit as the sprintandtrackday paypal account had not been set up properly. I am abroud at the mo so cannot check much, save to say I am still wishing to go ....Has this happened to others?
Tim
I have spoken to Dan via txt for you and this was the reply;
"Haven't had any issue with it so this seems strange. Infact we received some money yesterday!. Did he sent it to .com?"
I know from making a mistake myself if you send money to the wrong address it will take a while for PayPal to reject it and send it back.
Try again and check the address but mail Dan on the same email just to check he has received it.
Regards
Ian
Please read and reply to Dan.
Please read the below information, and reply to confirm your attendance.
Hi all,
this is just a quick Email to tell you about the event you've signed up for in just over a week from now.
If there's anyone in the Stratos club that could forward this one that would be great.
To bring with you;
A helmet
Any money you owe
Any gazebos, camping chairs etc for in-between runs. (recommended)
Arrival time should be between 7:45-8:45am for sign in, with the event starting at 9:30. The track is then live until 5:30PM. The gates will be open from 7:30ish if anyone wants to arrive earlier to sort/unload cars etc.
At 9AM there will be a briefing to explain how the day is run, and at 9:15 there will be an optional track walk with one of the team who will be there throughout the day to offer advice free of charge. Both of the above are mandatory for anyone attending a day with us for the first time.
We are running from the paddock with an open pit lane format which will be explained during the briefing. On arrival, please adhere to the 10MPH speed limit.
If you have anymore questions, please either Email us on here, or you can text/call me on 07402728337.
Kind regards,
Dan

Replied (to Dan] and looking forward to it. I don’t think I know anyone by sight but I’ll be the shaved headed old(ish) going to seed guy in a dark grey focus.
Hi,
Another enjoyable day at Curborough - many thanks to Ian for arranging this event.
Initially thought I'd got the wrong day as for most of the time I was the only club member present.
The usual interesting mix of cars taking part and event run in a very relaxed manner, open pitlane so little or no queuing staying fine and dry all day.
Early on managed to better previous year's best time then probably by trying too hard couldn't improve, although no spins.
Nice of Robin and Sach to call by for a chat.

You're a bit of a dark horse there, aren't you, Bob? - cos if I'm reading those results right, you got 4th fastest, only beaten by a Westfield, a 911 and a single-seater... congratulations! Good to see you turning out to all the different events in the car too. Top banana! :)
Bob as normal, thank you for taking part and showing the rest of the club how to drive round, what is a tricky circuit, as we have it on the day.
The fastest again....
As usual I was caught working away.
So what happened to the other 3 people who were going?
I never received a single message to pass on to Dan saying you were not able to make it?
I doubt we will run it next year. I doubt we will be invited.
With my error in paying the deposit (wrong paypal email) I emailed Dan (sprintandtrack@hotmail.co.uk)to see if I could pay on the day, but I did not get a reply. (The email did not bounce). In the end, not knowing the score I decided to prepare my Fulvia HF for an upcoming rally in the Costwolds this weekend. Sorry to have missed it and sorry for letting SEC down.
