Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
Does Gerry still have the plans for when he made his replicas? I wouldn't mind getting one made for my car at some point and if others wanted one we may be able to do a group buy to make it worth while?
Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
drop him an email gerry@hawkcars.co.uk and if he has any/enough interest he'll do another run I'm sure.

Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
Put me down for one if a queue is being formed!
Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
Sorry Tim, there's no queue forming and Gerry doesn't frequent this forum so unless you call him or email him he won't know that there's demand building up. If you want one then the best thing to do is to get in touch with him but be sat down when he gives you the prices. It won't include a mounting boss or horn push either. And be aware it is the original Stradale style wheel he makes and not the Munari/Fulvia type that lots of people here are posting links to.

Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
Last time I dropped by Gerry's fabricator when he was doing my grIV fuel tanks, there were a load of Stradale center spokes being fabricated for Gerry. Suggest you contact Gerry about a wheel as i am sure they are ready by now

Thanks Guy. Will do. I have been lucky to get the Munari wheel for my 1600HF Fulvia. I say lucky as the prices have certainly shot up......
did original Gp4 cars get issued with standard Stratos wheel or a three spoke momo?

The GrIV cars ran with Stradale, "Munari" and also Lancia homologated a very rare wheel called the "Pinto" wheel which had 3 spokes and impossible to find. There were a couple of other wheels too, seemingly Fulvia aftermarket items. All were by Ferrero
Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
I know the Munari wheel came in (2?) different diameters, the smaller one (330mm?) was more dished than the 360mm which was more dished than the standard Fulvia wheel.
Re: Stratos Original / Replica Steering Wheel
Reimund's ex Pim Hawk has the larger two spoke Ferrero:

Strictly speaking Tim, it isn't.
There were two sizes of Munari signature steering wheels. As discussed earlier in this thread.
The larger one (like this) for a Fulvia, and the smaller one used on some works Stratos rally cars in period.
There was a nice example of the smaller (Stratos) diameter one sold on ebay recently for £510. Here:
