Re: wanted: throttle body from 164
That's the same one all right - only difference is that I don't have the switch. I can see the mounting points for it, but it's not installed - must only be needed with some ECU's.
I did successfully rethread the shaft today, so looks like I'm back in business - thanks Chris and everyone else that helped. At least we've learned a little more about the different versions used.
I now have a smaller offset cam installed for the the throttle cable - the problem was my pedal travel was too much - the throttle pedal was actually higher than the brake pedal causing me to hit it sometimes when braking! Travel is now reduced to about 70% of before so pedal is now safely below level of brake

Re: wanted: throttle body from 164
Just for info, a 164 24v throttle body doesn't bolt up to later 156/166 or gta plenum's, inner diameter and bolt centres are different. If you have a later plenum, you have to either fit the 164 version or make an adaptor.

Here's the type of adaptor John is talking about (on the right).

Re: wanted: throttle body from 164
Pretty sure I still have one of those adaptors that I made for my GTA plenum to i think a 24V 164 throttle body - I think i still hav ethe throttle body as well if anybody wants one. I only changed it as i went DBW.
