I’m actually looking forwards to getting into that part, it’s quite a few years since I did any of this type of work, and I’ve mainly made tanks for bikes, which are much smaller panels, it will be a bit of a learning curve, but that in part is what these projects are for. The most difficult parts with be the nose and tail end, but I’ll do them last, I’ll concentrate on the sides to begin with…..

The front end wireframe is more or less done, I may need to add few short wires here and there, in order to make the paper patterning a little easier to manage, we shall see….

Here’s some more pics, the side view is distorted due to perspective, I can’t get far enough away so zoom out, leading to the distortion, making the nose look shorter than it in fact is.
note these are temporary wheels, it will have either spoked or Dunlop pattern race wheels when finished.
