Have a good weekend chaps.
I've only just missed out as I got final plumbing done on the Laminova this morning and it's running again fine.
Front and rear clams will go on later too.

I lied. Way too much rain on Friday and with the same forecast for Sunday Jane and I bailed out from the camp site Saturday evening before everything disappeared under a sea of mud. :(
It did also mean we avoided those awful queues to get away so there was an up side. The British "Summer" strikes again.
Great catching up with everyone. See you all again soon.

What a shame.
Not been too bad a tad further North!
Re: SILVERSTONE CLASSIC 2015 24/25/26 JULY 25th ANNIVERSARY SEC DISPLAY AREA
Home a day early thanks to the lousy British weather, a real shame, one of us must be a rain god with clouds following them around. Might be me as it rained here most of the day.... Still, a great day on Saturday and great company Friday and Saturday! I'd just like to say thanks once again to Ken for organising the weekend and a special thank you to John & Carol, Jeff & Jane and Ian and Jayne for the hospitality in the evenings, breakfast etc etc! It could have been a right miserable weekend without you lot!
So, before anyone else posts the story of my weekend....
Good run down on the Thursday night, only 3 1/2 hours to cover the 160 miles, thank you M6 and M42 traffic... Arrived about 7.30, set up the new tent which was a huge improvement on the last one and stayed dry all weekend. Which is more than can be said for the Stratos. Both footwells were almost full on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. It was so bad I had to bail it out at the show and then dry it with a very absorbent towel I bought at the show. Apparently there are pictures of me wringing it out...
The waterproof shoes I'd brought weren't so late on Friday afternoon I decided to pop in Buckingham (where my sister used to live) and get some new ones from a shoe shop in town..... Parked up in the local car park, got out and realised I'd put it across 2 bays so decided I'd better get back in and move it (in case they have a Facebook page like we have here - "parking like a twat in Liverpool") so cut out switch on, key in the ignition and nothing. Panic. Try it again. Nothing. Oh well, I've got the AA card. Off to buy the shoes but they had nothing except a recommendation to a farmers shop just outside town. Back to the car (thinking I might have a ticket for not paying & displaying just to complete the day) and same routine, cut off to on, key in the ignition and nothing. Then it hit me. 23 years of using the key to start it and now there's a push start button on the dash. D'oh. Found the farmers shop and bought some new wellies and thick, warm socks! Heaven!
See you all next year!
Guy
