Alpine A110 with coffin spokes?
For those interested, i started with the restauration of my Alpine by removing the chassis. It was a bit bent so i send it to a specialist to make it as new again. A new front section is being welded on, chassis is getting sanded and then painted. I also found a picture of an Alpine with what looks like ciffin spokes

Re: Alpine A110 with coffin spokes?
Wow, those wheels would look great on my Scorpion (US model Monte Carlo), but didn't see them listed under Lancia or Fiat, must be under Alpine. Wait, are those three spoke wheels??? I need a four spoke version. It would look great next to the five spoke ones on my Stratos.
Re: Alpine A110 with coffin spokes?
Nice to see it coming along Pim looks good, missing the Strat yet?

Re: Alpine A110 with coffin spokes?
Yes Ian,
I do miss it, especially the really nice sound from the Alfa V6 :cool:But i bought a nice megaphone tailpipe for the Alpine as well ;)
I also miss the forum, always something happening here, love to read and lurk around. The Alpine forum in Holland is a bit more quiet, OK guys though, always ready to help as well.
Cheers

Thanks for the update Pim.
I think most of us on here are rally fans first, as well having as a keen interest in the more charismatic cars of the rallying's golden era.
Especially when you're old enough to remember seeing them in period. (Jean-Luc Thérier, 1971 RAC).
Re: Pims Alpine A110 website
I was never bothered by them, in fact the A110 is one of the cars on my very long bucket list of cars that I would love to own.

Re: Pims Alpine A110 website
Been a while, busy selling the house, which succeeded, now bought a house with a garage :) which makes life a lot easier.
Some more progress post on my web site: www.alpine-a110.nl
Re: Pims Alpine A110 website
For some of you wondering where the Alpine stands, still there but now in the rebuilt garage. As the new house is nearing completion i will start again this summer to finish the Alpine. My website was abit to difficult to keep Facebook is much easier for me so those who like to follow the build here is my page, i won't be posting in this thread again:

As for the 037 it is in storage waiting for the Alpine to be finished. I am gathering all kinds of info and parts though, thats one ( of many ) of the fun parts of a build.
Cheers,
Pim
