Anyone else going to this, not just a kit show and you can get out on the track for a small fee if we book it now....
Is anyone else thinking of going. Need to let the organizers know very soon if we want a club stand and number of cars.
If we have a club stand, driver gets in for free (passenger £12)
If you turn up on the day without being on a stand (even if go in the Strat) you will have to pay full price.

Have asked for a stand, once this is confirmed will let you know and then you will be able to book track time and order your passenger tickets.
Stand now confirmed, so you can go ahead and book track time and tickets. Driver goes free but will have to buy entry ticket for passenger

I have just sent off for some track passes so folk can get on the track C/o the Club.
You will need to be there 1 hour before the start to have the car checked and a driver brief, the track opens for cars at 09:00 and we have no idea what time the passes will be for at the moment.. so if you can get there for 8am you will be fine.
You will also need a helmet which can be hired from the circuit if you don't have your own.
We have 2 passes for the morning and 2 for the afternoon so it will be a lucky draw for them with whoever is there.
Anyone who is going to this event please let me know so i can get the vehicle and driver pass posted to you.
so glad i found this thread/forum!! really enjoyed seeing your cars yesterday! i personally thought one of you guys might of won car of the show but oh well!

i live in torquay, devon (yes we do have electric down here too!) so the only events i have been to is castle combe action days and the sprints. i also went to the touring cars last year at thruxton. i have never been to silverstone.
do you guys do the rallyday at castle combe? i havent been to that but i am planning on it this year!
i see the 'repsol' stratos (sorry i dont know who owns which) had a camera/gopro on it. i'd love to see the footage if it gets published on the net :)

like the pics, especially the one of my car (Repsol) not being biased ;). Will be editing footage so watch this space or you tube.
Silverstone Classic is on 24 to 26 July and you'll see all types of classic cars racing, its a really good weekend and usually get to do a parade lap in the Stratos.
If you put - Lancia stratos parade lap silverstone classic 2014- into you tube, you'll see some footage from my car (before i painted it in Repsol colours)
there is also some footage from some of the other Stratos

hi Skelly. thanks for not driving over me while i was getting the pics! if you had ran me over i would of had a huge tyre mark on me. they have some really wide rear tyres lol. I'm not sure if i will make silverstone or not, but i am now really keen to go to rallyday, even if its just to see the club's cars again :D it would be nice to speak to one of you about them too and what they are like. they looked great round the track on saturday and sounded just as nice :D i guess you guys wouldnt go on the track at rallyday due to the extra amount of obstacles about?
