Has anyone here got a copy of the aforementioned guide from circa 1992 please?
It featured sections on a number of the Strato's replicas that were around at the time as well as a number of Lamborghini Countach replicas & may a Daytona replica too.

I used to have that Craig.
I sold it to Dave Watson.
If it's the one that included the following?:
Courtney Garage blue stradale Transformer with yellow dummy centre cap Compomotives
Yellow CAE Corse stradale, including photos of the Ferrari engined Corse I?
Demo Hawk in Alitalia colours
Yellow Dino engined Transformer etc.
That's the one Chris
Not that one, no.
I have:
Classic replicas Oct 1989 Transformer/Lancia comparison
Component Car Classics April 1989 Transformer review
Which Kit Oct & Dec 1989 Litton Corse review
Kit Car Dec 1989 Litton Corse
Plus a few more recent ones.
I may have a copy of it Craig... I'll have a look this evening.
Guy
Your chassis is in the guide I am looking for Corky which is why I thought of it. The 1989 magazines predate everything Litton apart from the original Yellow Demo car.
Guy, thanks if you would please.
Was there a section on here somewhere where magazine scans could be added anyway?
Looked this evening.
Strangely it was in the first box I looked in.
Now, I wonder what else I've been looking for for a while?
Do you want me to bring it to Silverstone Craig?
Guy
Hi Craig,
I have it I think, its No.2.
There is one article titled Stratos survival that shows Hughes Demo car/chassis with a V8 Ferrari and Metro brakes. Another article titled Luckless litton and another titled Blue Stratos.
I can post it to you (I'd like it back) or I can scan the relevant bits for you and email them across.
Dave
I Have a copy as well, it had an article on my old yellow Dino engined Transformer in the back.

Here's the car:

Can you remember what 5 stud pcd. it had Chris?
Here's a Which Kit cover car I recognise:

So I wonder where it was for a few years?
I think it was 2005 when it surfaced at Tony Favarins and Lionel sold it ,with some Favarin bodywork, on to the USA.
Maybe NoCorseChris can shed some light?
Was Corkys chassis at the same place Chris got his "S" chassis from?
Something to do with an ill-fated F40 replica project?
Likewise ;)
Some years later....

I used to have that one somewhere aswell as the guide. Not sure where they have ended up!
I've scanned the old mags I have, Component Car Classics (April '89), Classics & Relicas (March/April '90) & Kit Car (December '89). Once I find out from Ian how to add them to the forum effectively I would suggest that we should all scan the historic articles to add to the archive for everyone to access.

I can't Chris, I struggled like hell to afford the car in the first place and never had the money to get it where it should have been. In the end I had to give in to the cost of running a young family and sold it to a Japanese buyer. Would love to know where it is now?
Hi Chris,
I imagine it would have been 5x108mm, given that there was access to spare Ferrari parts?
Yes I know Corky.
I'm asking where it was between leaving Hugh Carson and when it turned up at Tony Favarins in 2005.
I crated it up on behalf of Napiersport and it was shipped to Reed Herman at that time.
