6 speed gearbox v6 bell housing

Does anyone have a spare V6 6 speed bell housing?, would consider whole box buy if I cant get just the housing.

I do but it has a small fault / crack in it. It looks like the clutch has rubbed against it. I though it was OK until I sent the box to be rebuilt and they flagged it as a possible issue in the future so I ended up buying a replacement bell housing - for many many ££ss.....I couldn't see a crack but they reckoned it could be and it might leak. There was no evidence of any leakage though.

I think you could easily fix it with a bit of weld. In fact I could get it done for you if you like, I have a local place that could sort it out.

No idea what it's worth as is.

Hi thanks for the offer. I think I will seek out a pucker one as its going on some expensive bits both ends so like you probably not worth a risk in the long run. thanks anyway. where did you get a replacement from? was it a brand new one from alfa?

I bought it from Tecnotrasmissioni in Italy. Think it was new old stock but can't be sure. Cost €400!!!

I know but I had no choice! Prices on V6 boxes seem to be on the up. Autolusso have one of ebay rebuilt with a LSD and they want £2400 for it!

Wow Steve that would be brilliant and much appreciated. I will wait for Mel to get back to me. 5 weeks would be fine by me and work well. Happy to pay for any extra fuel to get to me.
