Yes, somewhere in the stores. Hawk rhd item.
must be better than mine. can you send pics please
Pm me an email address.
I have one too!
thanks everyone. sorted now
I'm looking for one of these, please - in RHD Hawk 'stradale' shape.
And the anodised, pre-cut fascia too, if poss. Or an equivalent...
Drop Gerry an email, he has the precut fascias in stock I think. You may need to cut the edges to suit the binnacle but the gauge and switch holes will be done already. Obviously he can supply the dash moulding and binnacle too.
Guy
Thanks, Guy, that's helpful!
Can you confirm correct version/variant of the Hawk email I should use for that?
gerry@hawkcars.co.uk should get through to him. I isn't something that he carries in stock, they're made to order and the order book is rammed as you know! But if they're making one then the mould is out and cleaned so making another immediately afterwards is possible! Drop him an email!
Guy
Let me know if you cant get one, I think I have a spare somewhere - it has all the holes but will need fitting to your binnacle.
Peter
Thanks to both for your much-appreciated & speedy offers/advice, Peter & Guy.
Am sorted now as far as pre-cut fascia plate goes: followed Guy's advice and got a mega-rapid response from Gerry. So plate is ordered & en route from stock, straightaway = an excellent speedy service from Hawk Cars & pleasure to observe Gerry fully back in action, too!
Am aiming to refurbish whole instrument panel housing; to enable its removal for recovering & perhaps also to fit a GPS (or electronic) speedo instead.
My original preference was to transfer everything over to another, spare panel while did so; rather than car be laid up without a flight deck pending improvements. However, these f/g binnacles are, as Guy said, a batch-production item and not in stock; but think can recover my existing housing without the need/expense of obtaining a spare.
So thanks again to all involved for responses, including kind offer of a binnacle from Europe!
