Payment cancelled?

Just had an email from PayPal saying that SEC had cancelled the regular payments. Is there a new system for subscriptions?

I've got one as well.

I understand that for existing members next years subscription is FOC

I have just had the same message... hopefully someone from the committee will confirm the agreement from the AGM

The approved minutes will be published shortly.

To clear up any concerns, one of the points in the AGM as mentioned above was to give a free year's membership for all paid up members at the time of the AGM.

That decision has given several new tasks to the site in order to make this work going forward.
So to just sum up, it was unfair to dump this on Jeff just taking over the running of the site.

All paid members at the time of the AGM have had 1 year added to their current subscription.
Those that had paid before the AGM Jan to May have also had 1 year added to the subscription.

However PayPal would still instigate a payment from you to the club as PayPal is not aware of the free year, so the only way to stop that is to cancel all the auto payments.
A few of you will have paid between May and today, we know who you are, and a refund will be issued to you for that payment.

So most of you have paid now till some time in 2019, a few till 2020.
A new subscription has been created for new member's going forward for a yearly subscription, and when your current subscription runs out that is what you will need to do also.
