Re: Blue Stradale at Auction
Did some cars have mesh on top of the rear panel (under the rear louvres)?
I've seen it on replicas.

British Leyland door mirrors
Beta glove box lock, instead of the original boot lock
The front panel looks jacked up/rotated at the front
Dzus fasteners on the front panel have been messed about with
Either it's the wrong wiper arm or missing the covering trim above the fastening nut
Very nice otherwise. The re-trimmed seats, especially, and original carpet.
Chris, that's weird. Had a look on iPad at the pics and each one that you raised a point on could not be enlarged from the Thumbnail - just a black rectangle with a ?. Spooky!
Then went on Smartphone and could see them all. I had obviously returned from the Twilight Zone.

The auction is in March Chris.
Graham Robson says they only actually made 190 Stratos, not 492.
Re: Blue Stradale at Auction
- but didnt somebody buy up the remaining chassis and manufacture some as continuity cars - getting closer to the magic 492? (I seem to remember reading somewhere)

Yes, the Jolly Club cars (35 off).
Marchesi may have the original tooling/jigs today?

Now that must be worth a bit! Can't be worn out after 190 uses, can it/

They're ok as far as being from the period, but on a car like this original blue Stradale, an easily found pair of Italian door mirrors would be the least thing?
If you want something new and rectangular (and Italian). I had some of these Vitaloni mirrors on the orange car for a while:

Re: Blue Stradale at Auction
I picked up a pair of these a while ago https://www.europaspares.com/sports-...universal.html

but haven't got round to trying them on the car yet - still using the original supplied LB items
