Cheers David
Helen and I will be there !
Us too! It'll be the usual bunch of Woldies.....and maybe a couple of young 'uns
Thanks David. I’ll be there but Julie can’t make it.
We will be there David.
Hi David.
Thanks for organising.
June and I will be attending. I've triple checked the diary and definitely nothing clashing this time!
I'm keeping everything crossed that the STR may be ready by then. Still a certain amount of uncertainty at this stage, but hoping all of the planets align.....
Cheers?
Ade
I've saved the date, keep missing these drives and this time nothing clashes :)
From the ramparts of Walworth Castle to Raven Hall Country House Hotel with spectacular views across Robin Hoods Bay.
The Hotel has put 8 double and 2 single rooms on hold for us until the 10 March at the rate of ?219 and ?125 for DBB respectively / room/ night. Upgrades may be available such as - Bay view, Superior and Premier at an increased rate please enquire at the reception.
To book your room telephone 01723 870353 and ask for Amy. The group reference is STRATOSEC. A deposit of ?50 will be required when the room is booked.
Please do not delay in making your booking as the Hotel only had a total of 19 rooms left.

All the best Neil
A quick reminder that the hotel rooms for the Yorkshire Drive are only on hold until to this Friday 10 March for anyone that has not yet booked.
David
Hi David, many thanks for organising another road trip. Annalisa and I have just booked for both nights. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
Cheers Steve
David,
Slow on the uptake as usual, here...
Reservation made - thanks very much to both of you for organising!
Regards
Richard
David,
Even slower on the uptake, but all booked
Regards
Dave
Double room booked for myself and the wife Kirsty.
Just call me Mr Uptake :D
- Richard
That’s great. You’ve got booked in by the skin of your teeth as there were only a couple of rooms left when we rang the hotel earlier this week. I look forward to meeting you for what I am sure will be a fun weekend.
David
When booking I did get the leading question "Are you OK with stairs" so I guessed they were running low on rooms :D
No, it wasn't "stairs", it was "stares", cos they're all nosy buggers over that way, especially when they see someone they don't know. :)
The good ole Tan Hill! For a moment there when I saw "beware the moon", I thought someone was gonna show their....erm, never mind
Please find attached the PDF file detailing the route of 2023 Drive of about 140 miles.
Attachment 21258
Cheers - followed the route on Google Maps and all seems OK - the reality however is that with Leah calling out the directions, we'll probably end up at St Bees. Still, it's nice there this time of year.... :0
Cheers and Thankyou David. Really looking forward to this. Mrs B getting quite good on the notes now but I’m sure we will have a domestic somewhere on the route
What time is dinner on the Friday evening?
Richard
Dinner has been arranged for 7.30pm.
David
Look out for Traffic delays on the A1 Northbound if you are going that way !!
We're aiming to avoid all the traffic by sneakily hiring a boat to take us from the Mersey, up the west coast and past the Hebrides, round the top of Scotland through the Pentland Firth then down the east coast to Robin Hood's Bay. Should be there by the middle of next week.
Regarding the Sat Drive I think I have created the whole route on google maps (3 files as google seem to limit the way points) to avoid the inevitable in car domestic between Debs and myself. If anyone wants them drop me a pm and of course no guarantees but I?m doing a final recheck tomorrow.
looking forward to a fab weekend.
Hoping to catch up with you all after breakfast on Saturday, think my car will be warmed up!
Safe journeys everyone:)
We will be off shortly ..... Via Humber Bridge to Whitby !!
See you all later today
