Calendar 2024

Guys

I've been doing the annual Club Calendar for several years now and think it might be time to pass this task on to someone else. It's not particularly difficult - and there should be plenty of good photos available this year.

Is there anyone who would like to volunteer ?

Let me know and and I can supply the details of what's involved.

No takers so far ! If no one wants to take up the mantle I will step back (sorry folks) - and unfortunately there will be no calendar for 2024. You have been warned !

I've been organising the calendar for the last few years and feel i's time to hand over to someone else so please note that Sach Debez has kindly agreed to take over the managing of the annual New Year Calendar for 2024. Please sort through this season's photos and see if you can find some great shots for him to put into the calendar.

I'll leave it for him to advise of his contact details and the procedures for buying a calendar (at the appropriate time over the next few weeks) - but I dont think it should be too different from previous years.

I hope to keep up the good work.

I'm not looking to radically change the format, just keep the calendar going with some great pictures from the forum.

Hopefully Peter reminded you that this was going to be an Alitalia-only special edition calendar this year.

I think all the blue, red and yellow cars were just going in the For Sale section.

I could go alternate months with you, with a green car:-)

Edit: They show in my email as sent on 17/10 but I've resent them anyhow.

Do you need to get ideas of numbers to the printer so that you don't order too many or too few.
Please put me down for 5.

I think in future, it would be best for members not to post certain Stratos photos on the forum, and keep them especially for the calendar.

FYI - last year we ordered 50 which seemed about right. In previous years we ordered a lot more (100) and ended up throwing a lot away. I think at the printers we use - Vista print - there is no choice between 50 and a 100 print run but I'm sure Sach has all this in hand .

Quite agree, should have added this was some time ago, and the club very generously awarded me a trophy as a result

Did a similar thing to my Beta circa 2001, the recovery chap was a marshal on the RAC rally & had recently scraped Alistair McRae up... he told me it was a sports car, designed for crashing & re-building, so re-build it and stop crying! He was right:)
