Panel alignment set for Stradale.
35 pounds + post.
What does that consist of Chris?
I'll take that please Chris.
Not to worry. I can tell from the drawing it's what I'm after!
These are your parts John:
These are the types of parts left over: (more than shown, apart from the Stradale rear mounts, only one pair of those)
Would you mind measuring the spacing of the slots please
Or can I have the left overs please
Hi Sach,
I'd forgotten I'd already sent you a .pdf. of the drawings.
You needed measurements.
Maybe a hard copy might be best?
Chris
Does anyone need some of these brackets?:
Jeff in the US needs 4. They would need to be laser cut and tig (or gas) welded, and plated.
I can supply a CAD file if needed.
I don't have any of these brackets. Someone would have to get them made.
I do have a lot of the other alignment parts.
See larger photo to show what I have, and haven't got:
Hi Chris
I am interested in a couple of car sets of all parts or whatever you have plus drawings, if thats OK.
Best regards
Hi Chris,
I made a set of these from the drawing you sent me.
Attachment 24523
What I'm going to need to make is a set of these:
Attachment 24524
I'm hoping that you might have a drawing.
Thanks,
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
I've got one side of those still left, but Paul B. might be buying it, and possibly making more, but I've not heard back from him yet.
Did you get the new brackets laser cut?
These were simple enough that I just used a metal shear. Then I clamped them onto my small mill and milled the slots and drilled the hole.
Found out the hard way, that the first plate of 18GA Steel that I used must have been work hardened and not annealed when it was manufactured.
That set of brackets all broke when I tried putting a 90 degree bend on them.
My next set (after buying some plate stock from a different source) bent as expected.
My TIG skills are not practiced enough. So, I MIG welded them and did some cleanup to make them somewhat presentable.
So all hand made? Very good.
