I was really sorry to hear that. I'd bought every issue from day 1 and genuinely enjoyed them all. It was the only car magazine that I probably read every page including all the ads, dealer ads and small classified ads in the back. Never subscribed to a car magazine before either and I even got one of my mates a subscription for his Christmas a year ago.

I often buy Evo and/or Top Gear but probably just gloss over huge chunks of them and the glossy ads for the latest unobtanium Porsches and Ferrari go over my head as well.

I'll miss Modern Classics.
