    Re: Chairman's Rant, July 2019

From everyone I've spoken to, the 'labour of love' build is thankfully still alive and well. The value of the finished car can only help with the 'man maths'.

Welcome to the forum, they're a good bunch on here...very helpful, with a wealth of knowledge. Your car looks really good! That's a blue that I'm 'toying' with, great to see it on a GP4...

    Re: KITFEST 2019

It was a little bit 'spot the kit car' wasn't it? - I enjoyed it though. Good to catch up with Simon, and to meet new friends in Mark, David and Norm. The 2 LB's that were present, definitely whetted...

Re: Nick Mason had a Strato's!

It's looks as though you and I have been out in the same Stratos. I'm friends with Ian's son Antony, he turned up to my workshop once in Ian's car. It's a lovely early example without the aerofoil...

Slight discrepancy with the measurements. 74mm + 9mm = 83mm not 85mm. Which overall measurement do I go for?
Maybe the measurements are to the start of the outer diameter radius?....that...

Re: Stradale Gearknob - Needs Work!

Thanks Chris. Any idea what wood the original was made from, and what the threaded insert was turned from? Does anyone have an original that we could borrow to get them bang on??
