    Re: Steering Wheel Shimmy

I'm struggling to understand the physics of this too. You're saying that the shimmy is not coming up the shaft from the wheels, but is due to a possible eccentricity in the steering wheel to hub...

    Re: Pirelli Hawk for Sale

Stratos replicas have come a long way in the last 10 years, from the earlier days of " a spanner with a hammer in a shed in Nuneaton" to what are now low-volume manufacturers cars, some of which are...

    Re: 2020 mileage?

Absolute zero I'm afraid. A seized front suspension pivot in late summer 2019 led to a winter replacement/rebuild of all suspension, finished in February, so not commissioned last spring what with...

    Re: The Road Rat (Magazine)

Fascinating - it's amazing the risks they were prepared to take in those days. It feels as if we dodged a LeMans/Dundrod - style carnage.

Looks a bit narrow for sportscar racing - wasn't the April edition was it?

Re: I can see daylight now

Number plate on light cover isn't.

They're not wired in yet or the cover properly adjusted, so the pod won't be on for the MOT.

    I can see daylight now

This weekend's progress. Need to book an MOT soon, it's getting to be driving weather, even if there are no events.

I need to check the wheel clearance for a new front brake set-up. Does anybody have a U/S lug mount Wilwood Dynalite caliper body I can use to build the front brakes to see if it's worth buying new...

Is he still fabricating stuff or has he retired? My throttle pedal mechanism made by him is jamming and might need to be replaced.

Impressive work! Imagine having access to a crashed Stratos!
