The 155 V6 had the water rail across the top too. Probably GTV as well?
The 166 Turbo is a 12V, but is kind of an odd duck being a mix of 12V & 24V bits I think. Very rare too.
To be fair, it’s a very pale imitation of what it once was. We only went because we had nothing better to do and it’s only 30 miles away. The weather wasn’t kind either, which doesn’t help. Nor do...

I think by far the best mod for the gearbox is the one Neil ended up doing, swap if for an MR2 turbo unit.
I suppose the value for money calculation has to include what I get out of it..and for me, that's almost nothing these days. I'm not looking at new projects, nor for parts for a current one, and as a...
They’re getting greedy on the entry fee I think.

No connection, just spotted it and thought of you ;)

covers the fundamentals of how they should work in excruciating detail….once you understand how they...
BNIB, can't recall where it came from but it's been taking up space for a long time.....

I had a gander at the steel monocoque, and it’s a lovely thing indeed. Not sure I understand the target audience though, but then I guess I wouldn’t!
Indeed, just making the point that they aren’t pollution free at the point of use unless operated properly…and as we know, no plant operator ever has skimped on servicing etc…
Very lean isn’t...
Until there is a very significant investment into the generation of green H2, burning it in an ICE is way worse than using the oil directly, apart from local air pollution (which can be mitigated)....
To actually answer the original question without the tedium of talking to me:
I have an Ender 3. In it’s original form it worked pretty well. The mods I’d consider highly desirble are an all-metal...
I get the desire for originality…but these bloody things are probably responsible for the reputation of Italian car electrics! :)
Tomorrows LBS offering is Johnny driving the LB in question. Not sure what time it’ll go online though. Anyone that keen can always set an alert on YT :)
I should clarify, given how these topics have a habit of ‘expanding’, I’m not trying to imply that one is better than the other in any absolute fashion. They are different things.
A person can...
Have to assume he’s driven at least a few and didn’t like them I’d think. Given his collection, I can’t imagine his first port of call for anything that took his fancy would have been a replica.
What struck me most was that a bloke that could clearly afford to have a Lancia Strato’s chose to have an LB STR, and a bloke with some pretty impressive cars in his collection. Loved the way he...
Sadly I only did A level chemistry so the list of ingredients in the VSP means little to me, but I can’t help being curious about how a product at a 100:1 ratio can render the ethanol content...

@ducatiman. A complicated question! I bought one of the cheapest out there. Available now for way under £200 and much improved over when I bought it....
The right way to build any car is the way you want to imo.
The originals were homolgation specials, not kit cars. They were indeed ‘bitsas’ in many ways of course, but then lots of cars are.
A decent replica is a decent replica and should be recognised...
It’s about 20p/l for the treatment. Premium isn’t that much more is it? Less hassle too. I suppose one could alternate between additive and premium. It would probably be worth putting some additive...
I intend using premium fuel from now on to limit exposure to Ethanol. I’m pretty sure most of the components in the two kits are OK with E10 except the aluminium tank and fuel rail in the Westfield.
