Sticky: Re: FCA Heritage - Affiliation

Re: Stratos Zero - 1/18 Top Marques Model

I struggled to find one in November, there were a few on eBay.com at the time but they've all gone. The supplier I got mine from is in Italy but they've sold out too. Given that it was a limited run...

Re: Hawk Wiper Motor Park Problems

Glad it worked Chris - I can't take credit for the success - the instructions came from someone else - now lost in the its of time (and memory!).

Re: Hawk Wiper Motor Park Problems

No problem Chris. Has the wiper motor been modified for the correct sweep? If not the part you need is Lucas part number WGB221.

Re: Hawk Wiper Motor Park Problems

Hopefully the connections you've got from the Fiat stalks to the Lucas connector match what I've described and it's steps E & F that will sort the park issue?

Re: Hawk Wiper Motor Park Problems

Hi Chris - not sure if this will help or hinder as the notes were made years ago and column stalks/wiring colours vary. Plus my notes aren't as clear to me now as they were when I made them but I too...

It's been offered for quite a while Chris - I have no idea what the difference in spec is though!
  12. Re: Chairman's (Christmas) Rant - December 2019

Thanks for the positive responses so far to the idea....

If we were to use the same date and venue as the Lancia Motor Club I would suggest that we do our AGM on the same day at the same time but...
  13. Re: Chairman's (Christmas) Rant - December 2019

Here's a thought. How about considering an AGM venue that co-incides with the UK Lancia Motor Clubs AGM? That's in July in Oxfordshire at the Belfry Hotel. I'm sure that they'd have a room we could...

    Re: Spring has sprung

    That's an MOT fail Chris.

I know because the Alfa failed two years ago on that point. Cost an arm and a leg to replace all four shocks and springs and pans. Apparently the 159 is know for breaking...

Stratos Zero - 1/18 Top Marques Model

I thought my days of buying models had come to an end - the display case is full. But in the last coupe of months I've bought a 1/18th Fiat 242 service barge & trailer but this month I managed to lay...

    Re: hello

That's good to know - the Hawk takes a lot longer as the chassis isn't symetrical, the centre spine is offset to give (needed) room to the driver. But the time in reinstating the dash would be the...
