    Alfa 164 sump NOS

Been sitting on the shelf and I haven't needed it! I'll wash it first!

If nobody here wants it I'll try AROC / eBay

  5. Re: ONLY Road Legal Aston Martin Vulcan in the world

So that would excuse us a front plate? I see no manufacturer provision for one on the Stratos.....
Preferable to the nailed-on afterthought that they often look. IMO.

Re: Improvement for those with dodgy eyes/hands

"What's New" lists by individual posts, so the threads are mixed up; "New Posts" leads to a list of the updates by thread - I find that more logical to follow, but the wee arrow needs to be a bit...

Improvement for those with dodgy eyes/hands

Can the little arrows that are the click link to the latest post in each thread be made bigger? I can't see why they need to be so small.

    Re: Windscreen installation

I removed my broken one myself, then got a mobile fitter to fit the new one. I would unquestionably pay a professional to do both tasks if they ever become necessary again.

    Re: SEC Tax Disc

I like the second style. Would they be personalised as to reg.no. ? would the date be variable, or what is the significance of 31/10/86?

Re: Tarmac Rally Stratos Build begins

I agree it does sound like an exercise in liability management. I don't know how over-engineered the Herald rack is.
I've used the Rimmer rack without problem, but generally on smoother single-venue...

Re: Tarmac Rally Stratos Build begins

Still would use the herald rack and track rods Colin - there must be an increase in forces from a Triumph herald on skinny tyres to a V6 Stratos on wide tyres?

Re: Tarmac Rally Stratos Build begins

The 2.5 turn Triumph rack from Rimmer is perfect, but the manufacturer says not for motorsport use, which makes me uncomfortable, but I haven't found anything other than a custom built alternative.

I'm having a break from matters Stratos, as I need an MOT as the next step, and I can't decide whether to use the Cibie Turinis that I have on the shelf for the lamp pod or not. So they're on eBay to...
