    Re: For 037 fans.....

Gerry, wow that's quite a high ticket value item! It's that old supply and demand equation I suppose. Almost makes sense to break a Montecarlo now to make a replica? I know the Montecarlo was by all...

Re: What's your kit car owning history?

This was my only kit car to date, which I built back in 1982/3 when I was 21. Can't wait for my LB to be available.
Sadly I don't have any pics of my own Nova (hence library snap). I lent them out...
  3. Re: Jaguar sues a bloke who build a replica - and wins!

    Good points Robin.

Its a little ironic, if this is the case, that just through the passage of time this market has again become lucrative to the mainstream car manufacturers. What about the...

Re: X1/9 NEW Door Handle sets

Neil. Thanks for the update on your handle mod. I think on your advice I will see if I can live with them (when I get to that stage) unmodified before messing around with them.
    I needed to do some...

Re: X1/9 NEW Door Handle sets

Neil, you've got a good deal there. Mine were 228.32 back in Feb 2019 from Bielstein and look identical in black with same tabs holding the latch.

Re: Paid Membership twice for 2021

    Hi Mark,
Checked my PayPal a/c as suggested and looks like I am on an annual Auto Renewal and indicates (for me) that my next subscription is due on the 23rd Jan for 26.10. Is that amount correct...

Enjoyed your festive offering Col. Just spoke to my daughter yesterday who lives and works in Sydney, complaining about a sunburnt nose!! She agreed that this was not very Christmasy. Today we awoke...

You are right Chris that is an absolute joke. No justification or provenance - say it had come of a Monte Carlo competing/winning car and perhaps a nice signature . Very poor condition in my...

Re: X1/9 NEW Door Handle sets

  25. Brief Stratos Appearances in HG 2020 London Concours Event

Not too much Stratos content here, but original car that won its class in judging features a few times including 25.26 mins in if you want to pinpoint. However, some other lovely cars too.
