Happy birthday Leigh. At least it would've been easy to get back to the bakery for the body fit.

What's the latest date you need the photos by Peter? I've got a big Italian car rally in a couple of weeks where I should get some good photos.

    Re: NSU Trapeze

The Trapeze has always reminded me a little of the AMC Gremlin, only a little, around the back and rear quarter window.

    Re: Harness/belts

I'm using Sabelt four point westfield style harness, three inch wide. I find the wider straps more comfortable.

I thought that was the case, I don't think John does anything more than drive his cars.

    Re: Chairman's Rant, July 2019

I think so too, but I think purely electric on a large scale is some time away. Personally, I believe plug in hybrids will be more popular for some time, certainly down in this part of the world. ...

Welcome along, they do look good in blue. I remember there being some good Stratos roads around Sedona. Looking forward to seeing it in the local landscape.

    Re: 156 2.5L V6 1999 Crankshaft Pulley needed

No problem at all. Even if you have got one by then feel free to catch up if you make it to Christchurch. Mind you I'm happy to drive it anywhere in the South Island at a moments notice.

    Re: 156 2.5L V6 1999 Crankshaft Pulley needed

If you can't source one locally I'm happy to post you one of my spares, always garaged. Ideally they should be balanced with the flywheel I've read, but I'm sure you'd never really notice.

Re: Kitfest - Santa Pod - Saturday

I remember we tried this at a track day years ago, I was behind a TVR Griffith that did a 13 second quarter. I managed 16 in my VX coupe. I can only imagine how much quicker the Toyota engine is. ...

That seems strange that you can't get the bearings from the Monte Hospital. A friend of mine has put a VX box in his Montecarlo and recently rebuilt it. I was sure he got everything from the Monte...
