Yeah, how inconsiderate of you! :p. Even better I was born in 1969 so the LPH69 is even more relevant.

Well I never, I'd seen that car when it was up for sale recently before Paul posted those pics. It has an 'LH' numberplate on it so perhaps it's a sign.....

Just watching it on Dave. It's the one were they buy cars at auction and go on a 'rally'. They buy a Midget, A Citroen and a Lanchester.

Going round the track on one of the stages there is a Green...

A sad loss. From a time when motorsport was much more dangerous, but also full of real characters and a lot more interesting!

    Nick Mason had a Strato's!

I never knew Nick Mason had a Strato's! Google brought up an article that says:

'MANY OTHER FERRARIS HAVE COME AND GONE over the years, including a Dino 246 GTS which became a part exchange for a...

    166 24v 3.0 gearbox bell housing FOC

    Gearbox bell housing from a 3.0 CF2 166.

Has been repaired due to what looks like a rubbing clutch. Marked on the 'dry side' and evidence of a weld/repair on the inner side. Seems OK but the...

    Welcome!

How long is a piece of string? :)

If I admitted what I'd spent on mine so far you'd all think I'l lost the plot! But I have done lots of custom stuff.

If I were to pull a figure out...

    Strato's Artwork

A chap I know from my Lotus forum membership runs this place.

I asked if he fancied doing a Strato's print and he's duly obliged. Doesn't take a genius to work out what car he used as the basis eh...

    Re: Gp4 Bodywork colours variations

The Aseptogyl scheme really shouldn't work. On paper white red and pink seems wrong but having seen Andy's (Ducatiman) I can tell you that is really does work!

There is also a Hawk for sale in Switzerland. The asking price is rather 'optomistic' though.

I have my build insurance with ClassicLine. They were very helpful and very easy to deal with. Hopefully this will be the same when I eventually get the car on the road!

Internal diameter of the Elise S1 or S2 seems to be the same as the external diam of the X1/9 handle with the plastic grip removed.
