    I used grease to hold "large washers" in place..... Because I'd bought another couple of rods, I found that inserting one rod from "radiator end" and then another from inside the car to line...

    Windscreen fitting

    I tried Sando's solution first.... Simple is good.

    Bit of faff getting the belt on and once on seemed a little slack.

    Took up all clearances on mounting bolts.... nipped the bolts up and...
