    Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012

Any other club members make it to the event over the weekend?

Thanks to Graham H for helping us out with some last minute tickets we managed to make it this year, didn't realise until too late that they weren't selling tickets at the gate!

Another great event and luckily the weather was on our side - just! Amazing cars as usual and an amazing setting, plenty to see and do, one day is never quite enough.

Highlight for me was seeing a genuine Giro D'Italia Strato's (or genuine copy?) on display in the paddock and running up the hill. Slightly unusual engine note, not what I would call typical Strato's, not sure why that was?

The Lotus tribute really was a work of art:

To my surprise I spotted another Giro D'Italia car in amongst the various trade stands and then spotted Gerry standing next to his latest stunning demonstrator, in the flesh this car is beautiful and certainly tempts me to build another car:

Certainly no shortage of Italian finery at the event:

    Thanks for those Vince.

The number plate on the gen. Giro type car is correct for the Munari '74 Targa and Andruet '74 TDF.

A few more photos to give those that have never been a taste of what you can expect to see:

Getting this close to all the cars makes up for all those years stuck behind the barriers at other events:
