I'll probably be going to this. Last year's event was excellent. However, the accelerator cable on my Hawk won't be fixed by then. So, I'll be taking my Maserati this year.

    Hoping to Ken.
:-) My Maserati is still at the dealership having its washer bottle filled, .....so I shall be in my Strat ;-). Soz Elliott, anyway what's wrong with the TR7? Thought you were getting some featherlite nipples or something......

If the weather is OK then I'll be taking our Alitalia TR7.

Another cracking event, great to see everyone again, sorry you couldn't make it Ken, hope it was only a minor issue and the car will be up and running again soon.

Couldn't believe the weather was on our side for this event, wide range of machinery on display and as usual the Benz World test track was great fun. I'm still engine revs limited at the moment due to not having the time to get the car back on the rollers but next year we'll be on full song.

You can see all my photos at the following link, big thanks to Mark for taking the photos for me whilst we were busy out on the track:

Beautiful weather, some fantastic cars, relaxed atmosphere, but unfortunately the parking arrangements for the exhibit cars was dreadful, Vince Sando and I were all split up and parked on some wasteland most of the way up the Byfleet banking, meanwhile a rusty Mk 4 Cortina 1.6 GL was parked in the middle of the central display area. Eventually Vince and I declared UDI and brought the cars down into the sunshine and parked outside the Vickers hanger, there was a queue of people (quite rightly) to take photos of Vince's car, and Matt Higdon also found us and had a long chat about his car recently completing its IVA procedure.

Found another of Abarths blind alleys (X1/9 Prototype) during my wander round, this apparently was a FIAT idea to replace the Stratos instead of the 131, but it just wasn't quick enough, with a 2 Litre Beta engine admidships.

Ken, how is the car? Vince said you had done a driveshaft on way to Brooklands on Sunday morning.
