While i'm sat kicking my heels ive just been watching a vid on facebook from rally legend, pure engine sound type thing. Got me thinking on how best to describe the noise of those s1 quattros. My version is a mix of Mariella frostrup purring in one lug hole and a demented dalek in the other!!

Quiet all round John. Been working in Newark all summer, still got 4 weeks to do there but waiting for the quarry to supply the stone. In the meantime, im still house bashing here and having to do a rebuild on a meriva 1.4 engine that our lass thought would run better without oil......

I'll never forget being in Boltby Forest with several demented daleks all at the same time. One of them operated by a French woman.
