    Authenticity

When building your replica, make sure the end of the door is well cracked around the catch, and with big chips of the gel coat.
Attempting any better refinement wouldn't be authentic.

    Cheers Chris,

I've added it to my 'To Do' list, if you've got any chips and cracks specific to the 76 Monte Carlo event, let me know.

Potentially a new theme to garage days? Authenticity days where that hammer would be finally put to good use :-)
