Will you have a camber gauge with you this weekend? I can bring my simple ADA gauge if needed.
Though changing camber will affect tracking, so may just be handy to see where it as at even if no adjustments made on the day.

Thanks John, I think I'll use it as it is and get a full setup done afterwards, which is putting the cart before the chicken, but I know I'd only get in a pickle messing around in service area!
Rob, what did you shim the mounts with? These are Hawk's (very) expensive supplied item!

Mine were from Compbrake. I believe they also made the original Hawk roller mounts. Ring them as they were well aware of the shim being needed at the time, they may still have some. Fitting was a biach though. V tight. On the original bearings I also punched around the edge of the bearing carrier to tighten them up. The top quality roller top mount specific ones were much much better though ( from Tweeks)

Had a great time at Abingdon - it was good to meet Ian & Jayne, Carol & John, John R. and Jerry Bailey there as well as Mick.
Got my usual banzai first stage out of the way with 2 spins, but no more after that. I must give tyres more time to warm up! The first stage was as far as a lot of competitors got, there were abandoned cars everywhere. Things got better and faster. The day went on and we were up to 46th after SS6. Unfortunately (there always is an 'unfortunately') just past half way on stage 7, the 'you have insufficient clutch to continue' alarm came on as the cockpit filled with smoke and I couldn't select a gear for the chicane, so we rolled into the marshals area and retired. Other than that, the car and navigator ran faultlessly, unlike the driver. Gearshift still needs some work, and a higher rev limit would be useful, it seems to cut in at 6k.
thanks to Mick for navigating, good company and good advice.

    Hi Chris,
Thanks for offering the co drivers seat to me and for the hospitality over the weekend. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time even though the clutch cried enough so near to the end. These things happen but at least up until then the car ran faultlessly and it was clear that as the day went on, your confidence in the car and my instructions grew stage by stage.
Hope you had a safe journey home and that the clutch replacement goes as planned.
    Next time.......
    Cheers,
    Mick (aka rent a nav)
