I never got chance to use those 7" silver Minilites, and decided to sell the orange car with the mag coffin spokes on the back, so I wondered what they'd be like. Knowing how the amount of offset can make quite a difference on a Hawk. When my dark blue Hawk was still on 4 studs, it had very little offset on the front Image wheels. The car was really good back then, and had no kick back or anything in the steering. It never looked quite right though, as the wheels didn't fill the front arches for width. It had 205 P7s fitted, and I think the rim width was 8". Obviously caster/camber/tracking all make a difference too, but I'm sure the early days of that dark blue car were the best in this respect.
