    Re: Waldegard Steering Wheel

Tom, thanks, this is the closest i've seen. If you have any cars with this wheel on them, it would be great if you could get some measurements. The wheel you've shown me the photo of looks almost identical to Waldegards 1976 wheel, other photos of RHD Uraccos look a bit different (more dish where the spokes are covered).

    Thanks for your help

    David

It is only on the RHD Lamborghini Urraco. LHD ones are very different.
If you think it is close we have some cars in storage I could measure etc.

Here's a much clearer detail - Waldegards 1975 Safari car, i found this image in McKlein's excellent new book "Safari Rally"

I will have a measure and get some pictures as soon as I am near any RHD Urraco's.

It does, but something not quite right about the padded part of the spoke ?

What's the story of that wheel ?!

    Hi David,

    No story really,
Its one I had but have let Listerbell use it for the IVA, not thought about it until your post and I was looking through my build photos and came across it and thought that looks similar..

That's a very nice wheel Guy. Nearly right. I see it's a replica and will contact the seller and try to find out where it was made.

    Cheers
