    It certainly did Chris, with a little persuasion from me over the years. Just last weekend we had a very pleasant time working on David's car upgrading it with a few parts sourced from Roberto on a recent trip to Italy.

    You can see a short video of David's car when he left my place here:

    Brilliant!
    I love all the detailing on it. The original seats, mag wheels and other parts. Not forgetting the patinated gear stick knob!

    It should look even better in a few weeks when the rest of the original parts from Roberto are fitted. I'm sure David will post an update thread when it's finished.

    It's the gearknob that makes it Chris ! I recently got a brand new one on Ebay, and it looks terrible , changed straight back to your old one !

    Got the original Stradale steering wheel on now, with the help of Vince who re-machined and drilled the new boss i got from Omicron last week

    Will post photos when all the bits are fitted.

    Love the colour combo. Italian economic conditions seem to forcing a lot of good cars onto the market. Definitely a good time to win the lottery.

    I'll look forward to seeing the new additions.
    I thought of the gear stick knob when I saw the one on this, and the way it had worn in a similar fashion.

    Hello Alex,

    I've just noticed (from these recent photos) another feature on your old car;
    The gearstick?

    'Looks like a Ferrari stick, or at least some sort of gate/casing above the floor line?
    It's not visible on the old 1985 Motor Sport mag photos.

    The black and white photos must have been taken before the car was fitted with the round arches, (red) magnesium coffin spoke wheels, and the 24v Dino engine.
    It does already have a group 4 type air box on the IDFs though.
