I know what you mean Vince. It's hard to stomach seeing an original car having its floors hacked out.
Similar modifications were carried out on Steve Perez's car, and as a result, at least we get to see a Stratos competing on proper rallies in the UK.
I'd rather see a modern standards cage fitted without any mods to the tub, and original roll over bar (if that's possible?). And no floor lowering either. Did they lower floors in period?
