Peter I am really sorry to hear your sad news................
As some of you already knew, my wife Trish has been terminally ill. Sadly, she died at home early on Tuesday morning. As a result of this my car will probably become available at some time in the next twelve months so if I offer it for sale, this will be the ultimate reason.
I've been thinking about the car and its future and I think that what I will need in the years ahead is a classic car that is already a complete developed package with some small scale tinkering potential, rather than my Hawk which is a development project in every area as is the way of kit cars. I really love this car and had planned to bring it back to its former glory but I no longer think that will be possible with the house and garden to have to work on at the same time as holding down a job (although teaching isn't the profession it used to be so retirement is a real option right now). At the moment the car has its rear suspension out awaiting my giving it the two pack treatment but probably not until next year.
I'm not sure when or even if I'll sell it but on balance I think that I will. Anyway, enough of that.

Dear Peter! My sincere condolences!
Strength and power of god shall be with you.

Hello Peter,
Jayne and I wish you and the familiy all the very best at this sad time, we are so sorry to hear the news.
Hi Peter,
I did know, but the news is still very sad.
Cars are what make us 'tick' in many ways, but in some ways they're not the 'be all and end' all we sometimes think they are. For example, I don't even own one car now.
Take your time to adjust, and I hope you'll be ok.
Hello Peter,
I'm so deeply saddened to hear your tragic news. Having lost my dear wife Christine just under a year ago, I have some idea how you must be feeling right now. At the time, I too sold my Stratos to help fund some private treatment which, unfortunately proved too late.
The encouraging thing was that not one single person on here said 'don't do it'
Toys can be replaced, as I have discovered to my pleasure, but losing a loved one is something that I will never get over, nor would I want too. From my experience, you will be lucky enough to have something that nobody can ever take from you.....happy memories of your time together. Treasure them, they will be precious to you now and long into the future.
All my best wishes to you. Stay strong.
Mick
