037 & Stratos replica builds

Hi guys,

I am in the process of scratch building a Lancia 037 using a Beta Montecarlo as a base with the correct tubular space frame front and rear.

As this is a long term project, I have been thinking of getting a Hawk stratos replica which I could get on the road quicker than the 037.

I am based in Central Victoria, Australia.

Welcome to the fold Piers! sounds like an excellent idea! There are few Hawks down your side of the planet in Australia & New Zealand already!

Keep us up to date with pics of the 037 build! They'll be a nice pair to have in the garage!

I'm biased, but if you want something on the road quickly the only real option is the ListerBell. Oh and welcome, always good to have another southerner.

to all this maniacs like Stratos, i am owner from a Allora Stratos and i have a 037 in progress,
i quite agree with Guy, keep us up to date with pics of the 037 build!
and the story you have been thinking of getting a Hawk Stratos.

Hi there Piers!! I too am an Australian Stratos fan who joined the forum about 30seonds ago. I have been toying with the idea of doing a Stratos myself for a while now. I am in Mount Gambier, SA, so not far from you, and there is an original Stratos living about 30kms from me, so I get plenty of inspiration!! Would love to see some pics/progress on the 037 project!! 2nd sexiest car ever!!
