Window sliders

I plan to get the inner door skins covered in alcantara or similar. To make sure the material does not get damaged as the window is moved up/down and the locking knob set, I would like to fix something hard the knob slides over and locks against.
I have seen a car with a very nice black plastic set.
Does anyone make these?
Does anyone have a template?
