17" coffin spokes are either unacceptable, or a brilliant idea. It's all down to owner preference, as ever.
If there had been a suitable 16" rear tyre available for a GP4 car then there wouldn't have been a 17" wheel option but it was the same story that everything available was predominantly a track/race tyre so there was no logic to it.
I understand that the 16/17" combination isn't to everyone's taste but it is an option that opens up a few more tyre combinations for some people.
Just to clarify it is also possible to fit 15" wheels on the LB, it is not restricted to the 16/17" combination.

Spoke with Craig today then with Simon at Longstone Tyres. I've managed to strike a nice deal with Simon so will be paying him a visit some time very soon as he's not far from me. A little more expensive than Pneus but I think it's good to support local business. Going for the 18/60-15 Michelin TB15 & 26/61-15 Michelin TB15. Going to have the existing tyres removed so I can then refurb the alloys before having the new TBs fitted. Happy days.

An option taken up on every LB up and running so far, so fully justified.

2 GP4 customers have opted for the 15" option so far (not up & running though), the rest have gone with the 16/17" combination, Stradale runs 16"/16".

I will be running a set of 15" Wheels and tyres for going to the shows and I have already put a deposit down with ListerBell for the 16/17" wheel combination for doing any events. This will give me a better option of track & race tyres without breaking the bank................

Finally managed to find the time to get to Longstones today to pick up my nice new Michelin TB15s. Simon there did me a nice price and their service was excellent taking time not to damage the wheels etc.. I even managed to blag a couple of free "period gentlemen's entertainment posters on my way out" Should look nice on my garage walls. Top blokes that I would definitely recommend and for what it's worth they had all sorts of tyres on stock including the P7s in 345 etc. etc..
