    Colour Codes

I'm sure this info is on the forum somewhere but I can't find it, maybe it was on the SuperSite?

Does anyone know the paint code and name for the Stradale red? There's a friend looking for it for a Fulvia rebuild.

    Cheers

    Guy

    Re: Colour Codes

If still struggling it's sometimes listed under Fiat Orange 171

Here's the original paint swatch from the "Stratos" briefcase at Bertone. If anybody's seen "Pulp Fiction", you'll know what it's like to open the lid of that briefcase at the Bertone collection ! Photo courtesy of Vince Abbott (who has all of the codes for each Stradale option). There were also original fabric samples in there.

You can't get much more accurate than that. Great find.

On this subject, does anybody have good, verified codes for the 1976 Alitalia scheme ?

    Re: Colour Codes

For those asking about the Stradale Red - Rosso Arancio

I've seen a PPG foil label quoting 2.464.171
This is one digit different to the above number on the paint swatch shown by David Hanman above (1.464.171)
Rob Sando quotes Fiat Orange 171 above. So the 171 part of the number on both the longer numbers is repeated.
