So I found the previous owner's thread - http://www.stratosec.com/Forum/showt...t-it-for-years! - but it looks like the new owner didn't join here (or else he keeps a low profile). But I see it was built at GB Engineering, so I shall make a call.

No, the owner has never been a forum member or been involved with the SEC.
My own Honda engined Hawk went to Italy too.
