We've seen it Mick. (thread on this forum)

    I'm guessing £75,000.
It should only be worth what you've suggested, but you know what happens?

Almost speechless......The phrase 'more money than sense' springs to mind.

They mention the housing market being overheated but what about the classic car market? I remember the crash in the classic and exotic market a fair few years ago, wasn't pretty...

I think the lower end of the market is not so affected, for example the pricing on Betas is not so different to what it was a few years ago, so I think if/when it happens it will be the guys who have plenty of money who will suffer, unless you have mortgaged the house of course...

I've just had a look at prices from July 1990.
Dinos were never into three figures, even then - maybe £90k tops. By comparison, Daytonas were around £225,000.
Interestingly the C and Sportscar issue I looked at has two colour adverts for UK Stratos. One is Roger Perry's blue (you know the one?) advertised at £110,000, and Karl Ludvigsen's Stratos at £105,000. Those would have been big prices at that time. There is also an advert for that yellow Dino engined Hawk at £35,000. Ten years after that, you could pick up a real Stratos for £35,000.
