Guys, be careful. 3 of us have bought from a single seller in Italy, and each of our watches was exactly the same, looked brand new, no box, no papers. I've not popped the back off yet, but it's entirely possible that somebodies been over to China , if you know what i mean. Not worth 300 Euro if so - more like 20. Proceed with caution.

Normally these Watches are extremely rare! So it is it must be a lucky coincidene that quite a lot of these are for sale. Either the seller came across a new old stock or the watches are replicas ...

I'm new to this forum...i registered beacause i just read this thread about these watches and would like to clarify

I'm probably the person who sold it to you and i can guarantee they are NOT china replicas and can tell you a couple of things regarding them.

I live in a small town around Turin, 2 kms away from the old Bertone factory (who designed the Stratos), in Grugliasco.
One of my father's friends owned a watch store in my town and he had this Nos watches for sale (about 6-7 years ago). My father just bought them and asked for some informations .
Long story short, these watches have been produced and given as a gift to the buyer of the REAL Lancia Stratos car. They weren't in the market, that's why they don't have a watch brand name on them (and possibly, this also adds value to them).
According to what you can read on the intenet and in a couple of books, the watchmaker was "Buler" at the beginning, but later "Dugena" brand put in the market the exact same watch plus they're logo on them. Two other things that confirm what i'm saying...i have one hard plastic label ( the only one, unfortunately) wich says "Stratos Bertone, Buler, swiss made (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9X...ew?usp=sharing ) ... also, i once accidentaly took off the lower trapezoidal chrome plate and found the "Buler" logo marked underneath. I never checked the others but i guess they have it ( i could check some of them, and i probably will )
Regarding the internal module...maybe you already opened the back and checked what's inside in the past year and half...i did with mine and all of them have, of course, the original Hugh Aircraft module ...here's a pictures: http://s1371.photobucket.com/user/lu...cb747.jpg.html

Now, anyone of course could keep thinking they're clones, but at least, you could check the module and have the proof it's not and know that you didn't throw your money off the window... i was the first person worried about what my father bought in the past.
