    Water in spark plug hole?

Just discovered I have a spark plug hole with water in it causing a misfire, also the Coil over is stuffed and the arking has wrecked the Plug.
    Anyone else had this issue?

Just wondered how the water would get into Cyl No 6 hole?

Yes I had that. Silicone seal round COP was the advice.

I was just concerned that the water was getting if from within the block but the garage cant think how it would do that without showing other signs.

Still at least I don't appear to have lost many horses 211bhp with 15% loss according to his RR makes it about 240-245bhp from a standard engine of some miles and ECU.

Either from the rain or washing the car......
The plugs dont seal 100% in the holes, they are allowed to breath through cuts in the rubber seal. When it rains water collects in the recess in the head and eventually finds its way into the plug well..... Common problem. Even worse last year with my car and no seals for normal plugs, #1,2,3 & 4 filled up on the way home from silverstone, so it was running a bit rough to say the least when i got home....
The new Audi COP should be much better as the seal is above the level of the cam cover ....

Well I have done a far few wet miles, if it stays dry this weekend it will make a change for us....
Which Audi COP did you use in the end?

I used the ones from the R8 but they are a bit taller, so wont fit under your plenum.... and need an adapter making so that they seal into the head....
