    Dry Sump

Does anyone know if a dry sump system was ever fitted to Stratos Rally car in period?

I think the Group 5 turbo may have been, not sure I've seen anything on the group 4 cars though.
I'd have thought it wasn't an option with the Dino box and diff layout?

Seems on the Gr5 turbo there was on front area something similar to an "oil cup" ??

    Re: Dry Sump

It's certainly possible to do as the 246 gearbox/sump layout is the same as the 308. On the early 308GTB the dual stage scavenge pump is in sump and the existing pressure stage is used. The only visible external change is the the oil tank and its lines.
