Hub / wheel studs or bolts

Not sure if this subject has been covered before. Is there a reason for not using bolts for securing the wheels on a Strat?

In the past I've had to hang a 12x15 rim using wheel bolts, and I never want to do it again!

It's never easy lining up the bolt pattern on the wheel to the hub with a heavy wheel Allen, studs are easier to work with. I always make sure that the handbrake (or footbrake) is applied to stop the hubs rotating whilst you fit a wheel. The rears are a real handful!

I am agree with Chris and Guy,
it's easier to mount the rim,
and if the studs are longer you can use spacer without change the bolt.

What is it with these Yorkshire folk always trying to prove something. Anyone would think they had something to compensate for

Thanks All, The replies make sense. The reason for the question is I'm looking for a pair of second hand 10" rims for the rear and a PCD adapter maybe an option to widen the market.
