So in the Competition Cars where was the handbrake located?
Under dash like Guy's or between the two people as in this photo, or did it change depending on what they were doing?

PS looking on the lip of that Nose, I'd put money on that being a Hawk front end....so would explain the louvers.

It had the facing backwards targa catches back then.

What do we think the two hole by/near the overcentre catches are for? They are carried over from when it was restored.

Probably for the ball and socket fittings that locate the front and rear clips as you close them. The brackets inside the panels should be bonded to the inner surfaces, never seen them bolted through the panel before.

That's what I assumed but was surprised to see they didn't disappear during the restoration
