Good stuff.
I always keep my eye out for a Lancia Scorpion(Monte Carlo for you guys), just in case I decide to build an 037 some day. That Fiat Abarth engine and the gearbox, seems like it would be a challenge to hunt down.
Car will be at Race Retro this weekend on the Club Lancia Sport stand.

Car is advertised here http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C632910 I should imagine reserve has a long way to go.
Any body seen the car in the flesh? Some of the mould edges and detailing look like they need a little work.
Were the originals ever that good Chris?
I have seen this one at Race Retro, pre 'totip' stickers.
I noticed the one cut tube on the removable transmission cradle. I'm guessing this is something to do with the Audi box being a different shape to the original ZF?
There's no removable rear bulkhead panel on this one, but that feature has been added to subsequent chassis'.
The photos I've seen on the replica chassis that Martin Kift made had this removable bulkhead panel, and some extra gussets on the rear frame.
I remember John H. said that the Kift chassis was built using an ex works Safari car for reference, so maybe there were some 'Safari' mods? 'Just a guess, nothing more.
Anyhow, 'must be closer to the original than any kit Stratos is?
Here's some of the fit and finish on an original:
I have got to admit to never seeing a real one up close and the pictures of the original make the replica look very authentic. I think I have spent to much time with Vince. I saw the Delta they had built at a show a couple of years ago and was very impressed with that. Were the originals ever that good Chris?
What do you think is the right price for the car?
Not unless I win the lottery on Saturday Chris!
I've never heard of a poor accountant!.......
