I had a good day - apart from the long and slow haul home. First time I've ever "floored" the car .. it felt very quick (to me) .. managed to touch 90 on the straight section

Apparently the car sound like some sort of electric car while it's pottering about: rather quiet. It didn't sound like that from the inside.
